Your grandaughter is sooooo precious! I love the creche…just beautiful! Have a very Merry Christmas!

    • 2. storygal  |  December 24, 2011 at 3:10 pm

Thanks, Elizabeth. She’s two now and when her Mother asks what Santa says, she remembers, “Ho ho ho.”
I bought the creche at a special craft show in Toronto one year. It was my favourite of all I’ve seen. Simple, yet elegant too.
And a Merry Christmas to you and your family as well!

Thanks for stopping by…I got the aerial shot of the tree/rink from the 12th floor of one of the PPG buildings, through the window. Our company used to have our office there, until we moved this year into a building I don’t like nearly as much 😦

Although the tree is tall on its own, the picture had to be taken from a much higher place. Too bad you had to move from there. It looks like a nice spot.

The little ones are so cute at Christmas. It’s all so new and fun for them.

    • 6. storygal  |  December 24, 2011 at 4:18 pm

Sure is. She’ll enjoy it in a different way this year. Already she likes to help people open gifts, even if it’s not her own. The question of what’s inside.

Thanks, Nise’. You’ll have to show us a few of yours sometime. Merry Christmas.

  • 11. Alyce  |  December 24, 2011 at 5:30 pm

Great holiday photos! She looks so sweet!

    • 12. storygal  |  December 24, 2011 at 7:27 pm

Thanks, Alyce. 🙂 Took the creche photo yesterday and then the one of my granddaughter was taken in her own home. She’s just a little bigger this year and Christmas will be fun with her.

      • 13. storygal  |  December 24, 2011 at 7:28 pm

Oh, and wishing you a Merry Christmas too. 😉

    Beautiful nativity set.

    • 15. storygal  |  December 24, 2011 at 7:23 pm

Thanks. I’ve seen so many different styles. Nise’ would probably know since she collects them.

Having a little one around makes the holidays so special. Merry Christmas!

    • 19. storygal  |  December 24, 2011 at 8:48 pm

It really does, and this small one has a baby sister who will spend a good deal of time eating and sleeping this Christmas.

Thanks and Merry Christmas to you as well. 🙂

Christmas is always fun with little ones. Your granddaughter is a cutie!

And I love your creche…so pretty.

    Here’s my snapshot:

What a precious shot of your granddaughter. I also love your white nativity set. It is stunning.

  • 23. Paulita  |  December 25, 2011 at 12:11 pm

The creche in stone is perfect. Allowing each figure to be left up to the imagination of the person looking at it. The granddaughter is pretty perfect too. Merry Christmas.

  • 24. storygal  |  December 25, 2011 at 1:09 pm

I didn’t think of the pieces that way, Paulita, but you’re right. Being stone, they also don’t break like ceramic might. Thanks also for your kind comment on our little granddaughter.

Anne, I liked this photo of my granddaughter too. As for the nativity set, I wandered a whole Christmas show and went back to buy that stone set. The man had sets with more pieces, but I liked this size best.

Diane and Bev: These little ones, how they grow. She’s just as cute at 2 now and has a baby sister who will follow her around next year.

Thanks all for stopping by. Have a Merry Christmas and safe holiday!

  • 25. Nikki (Sarah)  |  December 28, 2011 at 4:22 pm

aww Caroline she is soooo adorable. Like your decorations too.

    • 26. storygal  |  December 28, 2011 at 6:53 pm

Thanks, Nikki. Granddaughter has grown so much since that picture was taken last year. The creche is still in my window to remind me that the Christmas season is not yet over.
