First dance

Our eldest daughter was married late August. Here are two photos from that day, one of me being ushered to the outdoor seating, second of bride and groom’s first dance.

Thank you, Christine. It was a beautiful day, a beautiful ceremony and a most enjoyable party with excellent dinner. We had a second family wedding in October, but that’s good for another post.

Thank you, Alyce. We were fortunate to have such a lovely day. All along the bride said to her father, “We’re going to have a sunny day.” And it happened as she wished. Of course there was a back-up plan of using the indoor facility where the dinner was to be held.

I love an outdoor wedding but it’s something most brides are afraid to do where I live with our unpredictable weather. Great that you had a beautiful day to go with the beautiful bride.

In Southwestern Ontario, our weather can change too, but perhaps not as fast as yours. We had a back-up plan with indoor facility where the wedding dinner was being held, but all along, the bride said, “We’re going to have sunshine.” We were blessed with a warm sunny day. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

Oh! What a special day and special memory for you! So wonderful that the weather cooperated and all your plans were realized in Plan A format! Wink!

Yes, thanks, Susan. We were delighted, especially the bride.

Thanks, Edgar. It was a memorable day and all in a good way. So much goes into planning a wedding and we were all pleased that it went well, and for so many good photographs too.

I’ll go check out your photo as well.
